Duration of Training courses

For trans plant mastertrain certification training, the duration is adjusted to suit individual needs. The duration of the course depends on:-

Number of candidate(s);
Experience of candidate(s);
Complexity of mobile plant.

For CITB Certification the duration is as follows:

Experienced operators with more than two years operating experience and three years working in or around the construction industry the duration is 1 day.

For candidates who do not have the relevant experience, the duration depends on the type of training.

Slinger / Signaller: 3 days;
Site dumper: 3 days;
Trac air: 5 days;
Skip handler: 5 days;
Forklift trucks: 5 days;
Dump Trucks: 5 days;
180 Excavator: 10 days;
360 Excavator: 10 days;
Mobile Crane: 10 days.

Other courses:

Abrasive Wheel: ½ day;
Crane Supervisor: 4 days;
Appointed Person: 4 days;
ADR Dangerous Goods (Packages): 3½ days;
ADR Dangerous Goods (Packages & Tankers): 5 days;
DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor): 5 days;
Lorry (LGV): Generally 10 days.
