Duration of Training courses

For trans plant mastertrain certification training, the duration is adjusted to suit individual needs. The duration of the course depends on:-

• Number of candidate(s);
• Experience of candidate(s);
• Complexity of mobile plant.

For CITB Certification the duration is as follows:

• Slinger / Signaller: 3 days;
• Site dumper: 3 days;
• Trac air (loader compressor): 5 days;
• Forklift trucks: 5 days (not registered for CPCS testing);
• Dump Trucks: 5 days (not registered for CPCS testing);
• 180 Excavator: 10 days;
• 360 Excavator: 10 days;
• Mobile Crane: 10 days.

Other courses:

• Abrasive Wheel: ½ day;
• Crane Supervisor: 4 days;
• Appointed Person: 4 days;
• ADR Dangerous Goods (Packages): 3½ days;
• ADR Dangerous Goods (Packages & Tankers): 5 days;
• DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor): 5 days;
• Lorry (LGV): Generally 5 days;
• Forklift trucks novice 3 days.
