Mobile Plant Training

trans plant mastertrain can offer two types of qualification. They are:

  • trans plant mastertrain certification
  • CITB CAA (Construction Awards Alliance) Certification

Both opportunities cover your legal duties and obligations for training and certification and supports your insurance needs. The CITB CAA route is recognised nationally in the construction industry.

For our certification contact our office and we can adapt a course specific to your needs.

For CITB CAA certification there are three routes of entry:

  • Route 1 Foundation: A candidate who has not had two years or more operating mobile plant and three years working in the construction industry. The duration of the course is dependent on the type of machine. This varies from 3 days for a site dumper to 10 days for an excavator;
  • Route 2 Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA) with no proof of training: This route is for candidates with the experience and proof of training. The duration of the course is one day with a minimum of 6 hours training;
  • Route 3 EWA with proof of training: This route is for candidates with the experience and proof of training. We can carry out up to three assessments in one day.

For the CITB CAA route every candidate must have passed a Health & Safety test within two years of the course.

Location: Courses can be held at our training centre or at the customers' site. You are welcome to bring your own mobile plant to our training centre to eliminate hire costs.
