trans plant mastertrain can offer two types of certification. They are:-
- trans plant mastertrain certification;
- CITB CAA Certification.
Both opportunities cover your legal duties and obligations for training and certification and also meets your insurance needs. The CITB route is recognised nationally in the construction industry. For our certification contact our head office and the course will be adapted to suit your needs.
For CAA/CPCS certification there are various routes available:
Before embarking on CAA/CPCS testing, each candidate is required to hold a current CPCS Health & Safety certificate. Tests are taken online and can be booked through our office or direct on 08706 004020
Route 1 To achieve an initial trained operator red card
This route is for a candidate with little or no experience. Duration of courses are dependent on the category of machine.
Training is followed by technical tests - both theory & practical elements
Route 2 Upgrade a red card for full competent operator blue card
This upgrade involves an NVQ in Plant Ops. This is attained by building a portfolio of evidence plus site visits by our assessor and the technical tests - both theory & practical elements.
Funding may be available. Please ask our office for details.
Route 3 To achieve a full competent operator blue card
This route is for acandidate with 5 years + experience on the machine.
An NVQ is achieved through the Experienced Worker Assessment route including technical tests - both theory & practical elements.
For the CITB route every candidate must have a current Health & Safety test.
We can book the test for you or contact 08706 004020.
Location: Courses can be held at our training centre or at the customers' premises. You are welcome to bring your own mobile plant to our training centre to eliminate hire costs.
