Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA)
ADR is the carriage of dangerous goods by road (driver training) regulations.
These regulations cover the training of drivers carrying dangerous goods in tanks and packages. In order to be legally qualified to drive a vehicle carrying dangerous goods, a driver must be in possession of an ADR vocational training certificate.
We offer courses at our training centre or at the customers' premises. The duration of these courses are:
- Packages: 3 ½ days;
- Packages & Tankers: 5 days.
All of the following classes are covered in these courses:
- Gases;
- Flammable liquids;
- Flammable solids;
- Oxidising Agents;
- Toxic / infectious substances;
- Corrosives;
- Miscellaneous.
Drivers wishing to carry explosives can sit a one-day course, which is a stand-alone module.
We have an ideal training environment for you. We offer the course in a friendly, relaxed room using modern technology. With small classroom sizes we ensure full support is given to every client.

Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) training
EC directive 96/35/EC requires that from 1st January 2000 undertakings whose activities include the transport or related loading or unloading of dangerous goods by road, rail or inland waterway must appoint one or more safety advisors.
Duration
For foundation training we offer a five-day course. The duration can be adjusted if the course is conducted on an instructor/trainee ratio of 1/1. The duration of a refresher course is 3 days.
Publication material
As the examination is 'open book' you will need to purchase certain publication material. We will advise you of these books beforehand.
